Anna Lou Sumrall, 73, of Tylertown, died Aug. 20, 2023 at her residence. She was born Sept. 18, 1949, in Tylertown.
Funeral services were Aug. 23, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church, burial at Crystal Springs Cemetery, Bros. David Chambers and Landon Lambert officiating.
Mrs. Sumrall was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She also enjoyed taking care of people.
She was preceded in death by her husband Prentiss Clemon Sumrall; father Marvin Dodge Wood; mother Vera Ellen Thompson Wood; brothers Easley Wood and Everett Wood; sister Shirley Stinson; and a very special mother-in-law Daisy Leona Sumrall.
Survivors include her sons Tracey Sumrall (Rhonda), Todd Sumrall (Missy) and Tory Sumrall (Stacy); grandchildren Cory Sumrall (Heather), Hunter Blailock (Sydney), Waylon Sumrall (Jordan), Victoria Burnthorn (Brody), Lanee Holmes (Dylon), Emma Sumrall and Wade Sumrall; great grandchildren, Oakley Blailock, Raylee Blailock, Broxyn Sumrall, Princlee Holmes, Baylor Holmes, Adalyn Blailock and Olivia Burnthorn; brothers J W Wood (Penny) and Ray Thompson (Francis); sister Gwen Wood; special friends Pat Sumrall, Beverly Sumrall, Jerry Wayne Popwell and family.
Pallbearers were Cory Sumrall, Waylon Sumrall, Kevin Sumrall, Shane Sumrall, Ralph Stinson, Brody Burnthorn, Dylon Holmes, and Hunter Blialock.
