Both teams lose in Friday games

The Wildcats dropped a game to Sacred Heart Friday night 41-6.
While the Wildcats dropped to 0-7 on the season, spectators at Friday night’s game saw a totally different Wildcat squad return after the half time break, holding Sacred Heart scoreless in the second half while putting six points on the board.
The Wildcats returned to the field after the break, and seemed to surprise the Crusaders for the final 24 minutes of the game, showing gains in running and passing yardage to hold the Hattiesburg squad scoreless in the game’s second half after Sacred Heart virtually ruled the first half.
Tylertown’s Chiefs went to 1-6 overall and 0-2 in district play, falling to St. Stanislaus at Bay St. Louis 23-6. No stats were available from Friday’s contest.
This Friday night, Salem travels north to play Enterprise, south of Brookhaven, while the Chiefs will meet Poplarville–both games taking place on Friday the 13th for those with superstitions about the date, but by the same token, the opponents are also playing on the 13th as well.
