Chiefs and Wildcats chalk up weekend losses

Neither of Walthall County’s high school football games came out as victors over the weekend.
An improved Salem Wildcats team managed to put four touchdowns on the board Friday night at Enterprise, but the Yellowjackets scored 47 points before a homecoming crowd to walk away with the win.
The Wildcats, 0-8 on the season, will play Lumberton Friday night. They’re 0-3 in District 1A.
Tylertown’s Chiefs are 1-7 on the season and 0-2 in district following a 45-12 loss to Poplarville last week.
The hapless Chiefs go against a strong Gulf Coast foe, playing St. Patrick Friday night.
