Patricia Ann Simmons, 70, of Maurepas, LA, died Oct. 14, 2023. She was born Nov. 12, 1952, in Shreveport.
Funeral services were Oct. 22, 2023 at Hartman Hughes Funeral Home.
Mrs. Simmons enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, loved her dog Gunny, and fishing. She loved and missed her husband and always tried to keep her boys in line.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy R Simmons, Sr; father Joseph Taravella, Sr; mother Helen Rose Howard Taravella; brother Robert Norman, Sr.; son Rikki Simmons; TJ and Juanita Simmons.
Survivors include her sons Edward Joseph Simmons (Ashley) and Billy Ray Simmons, Jr; brother-in-laws, Tommy Simmons and Sammy Simmons (Mary); sister-in-law Betty Fontenot (Don),; brothers Joe Taravella, Bobo Teravella(Dede), Anthony Teravella (Kimberly); sisters Rosie Shepherd, Daphne Harville, Mary Anders.
