Jimmy D. Shepherd, 73, of Tylertown, died Oct. 31, 2023, at his residence. He was born April 7, 1950, in Meridian.
Graveside services were Nov. 4, 2023, at Tylertown Cemetery II, Rev. Randall Griffin officiating.
Shepherd was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked 20 plus years as a salesman for Clear Spanned Components. He enjoyed drawing houses and buying trucks.
He was preceded in death by his father James Edward Shepherd and wife Joy Shepherd.
Survivors include his son Rusty Shepherd (Debbie); daughters Laura Smith (Steven) and Holly Fountain (Mark); 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; mother Marty Shepherd; brother Tommy Shepherd (Pam); sister, Rena Conerly (Mark), mother of his children Sarah Murphy.
Pallbearers were Zachery Malone, Nathan Smith, Garrett Huckabay, Nolan Huckabay, Lee Shepherd, and Brogan Shepherd.
