Brenda Stringer Allred, 72, of Batesville, AR, formerly of Summit, died Nov. 11, 2023, in Searcy, AR. Graveside services were Nov. 16, 2023, in Hollywood Cemetery, Dr. David Millican officiating.
Mrs. Allred was born Aug. 15, 1951, in Tylertown, to Cletus T. Stringer and Peggy Brock Stringer. She was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Library Sciences. Mrs. Allred obtained an LPN license after the passing of her mother. She worked for over 30 years in long term care. She spent many hours reading and posting things to Pinterest boards.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Charles Lynn Allred.
She is survived by her daughter Robin Bradberry (Todd) of Batesville, AR, her son Ryan Fountain (Louise) of Anchorage, AK, a brother Clete Stringer (Darlene) of Raymond, a sister Dollie Redding (Kevin) of Branson, MO, her grandchildren Arilyn and Shelly Fountain.
Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb was in charge of the arrangements.
