Jerry Charles Dillon, 73, of Tylertown, died Jan. 6, 2024, at Southwest Medical Center in McComb. He was born March 29, 1950, to the late QD Dillon and Deloris Dillon.
He was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Ginntown Training School and J.J. Gulledge before joining the workforce. Dillon was a member of The Tylertown Spirituals. He worked numerous jobs from carpentry to hauling sugar cane, but most important started his own logging business Jerry Dillon Logging.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Nell Dillon; his son, Anthony Dillon; his grandson, Patron Dillon; his father-in-law, Willie Bridges; his brothers, Elvis, Quentis and John Dillon; son-in-law, Marvin Elzey.
Survivors are two daughters, Tonia Dillon of Tylertown, Cotrina (Caze) Johnson of Jackson, TN; two sons, Quentis (Ashley) Dillon of Columbia, Arrick (Casey) Dillon of Tylertown; three brothers, James (Shirley) Dillon, Charlie (Brenda) Dillon, Willis (Shanna) Dillon, all of Tylertown; two sister, Diane McElveen and Patsy Robins; mother-in-law, Laurine Bridges; three sisters-in-law Barbara (Ray) Warren, Patsy (Melvin) Quinn, Nancy (Donell) Brock; brother-in-law, Willie Bridges; daughter-in-law, Patricia Dillon of Tylertown.
Funeral services were Jan. 13, 2024, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, interment at Tylertown Cemetery #2.
Pallbearers were Quentis Dillon, QuinMichael Dillon, Ashton Elzey, Mikail Magee, Arrick Dillon, Chad Dillon, Caze Johnson and Quincy Dillon.
Honorary pallbearers were LaMichael Dillon, Willis Dillon, Johnathan Dillon, Jarrick Dillon, James Dillon and Greg Dillon.
Washington Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
