Climmie Bullock Matthews, 83, of Tylertown, died May 20, 2025. She was born May 19, 1942, to Blummer and Bernice Bullock.
She graduated from JJ Gulledge High School prior to moving to Chicago. She like to embrace the unknown, help others and keep their secrets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Matthews; brother, Lonell Bullock; sisters, Bertrance Magee and Pamela Robinson.
Survivors are her brother, Gilbert Bullock (Oranell); a God-daughter, Bernestean Hammond (Larry d.) from Texas.
Funeral services were May 25, 2025, at Brandon Bay United Methodist Church, with Rev. Andre Tillman rendering the eulogy, interment in the Brandon Bay UMC Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Preston Bullock, Tyler Harris, Trevoris Harris, AJ Mark, Landon Lenoir and Jaden Lenoir.
Honorary pallbearers were Lloyd Bullock, David Hyres, Daryl Holmes, Bobby Roberts, Gilbert Bullock and James Ball.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
