Homemade vegetable soup at the courthouse, demonstrations of crafts and refreshments downtown, plus a two day craft show Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12-13, at the Agri-Heritage Center.
The Chamber and participating businesses are pulling out all stops to make festival a different and fun experience for customers shopping for Christmas gifts at Tylertown stores.
As is custom, visitors to town will find a variety of displays, along with refreshments at several stops in town.
And county officials invite everyone to stop by the Walthall County Courthouse for homemade vegetable beef soup, being served in the courthouse lobby, while it lasts. County officials including tax assessor/collector Carla Johnson, county supervisors Roger Ginn, Sherman Smith, Doug Popwell, Byran “Bird” Martin and Billy Bridges; Chancery Clerk Shannon Fortinberry, Circuit Clerk Dan “Nut” Hawn and Sheriff Kyle Breland have the soup prepared and pay for the ingredients.
Plus, shoppers are urged to register at participating stores for the big holiday drawing, beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19.
