A graveside service for Roger Wayne Mirgon, 79, of Jayess, was April 21, 2020, at Sartinville Cemetery with Rev. Dan Campbell officiating.
Mirgon died at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg April 15, 2020. He was born Sept. 8, 1940, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to the late Verna and Benjamin Mirgon. He is also preceded in death by his wife Charlene Mirgon.
Mr. Roger served in the U.S. Air Force and later retired as a Navy calibration specialist with the Department of Defense Civil Services.
Survivors include his children Melonie (Donald) Mitchell, Brad Hodges, and Paul (Sharon) Hodges; grandchildren Kasey (Chuck) Adams, Cameron Hodges, Micah Easley, and Paiden Easley; nine grandchildren; sister Caroline Chambers.
