A private visitation for immediate family for Sara Lou McKenzie, 84, of Natchez, was April 23, 2020, at Capps Chapel in Tylertown, burial at Boyd Cemetery in Salem with Rev. Mike Harrigill officiating.
Mrs. McKenzie died at Lamar Health and Rehab in Purvis April 18, 2020. She was born Sept. 20, 1935, in Marion County to the late Claude and Myrtle Holmes. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Larry McKenzie; son Ronald McKenzie, brother Jack Holmes, and sister June Stogner.
She was a member of Churchill United Methodist Church. Mrs. McKenzie enjoyed spending time with others, listening to music; especially good old hymns. She was also a great cook and enjoyed cooking for others and she also enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include her daughter Elizabeth (Kenneth) Lott; grandson McKenzie (Tiffany) Lott; granddaughter Kelly (Don) Sacco; and great-grandson Luke Lott.
Pallbearers were McKenzie Lott, Don Sacco, Steve Robertson, David Pyron, Eddie Stebbins, and Dudley Dillon.
