Melinda Sartin, 56, of McComb, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020, at Walthall General Hospital in Tylertown.
A native of New Orleans, and longtime resident of McComb, she was a farmer with Buford and Son’s Dairy Farm, and Douglas Popwell Dairy.
Mrs. Sartin was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Blackwell.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Steve Sartin of McComb; a daughter, Amy Merritt and her husband, Jacob of McComb; three sons, Matthew Sartin of McComb, Kevin Sartin and his wife Heather, of Foxworth, and Michael Sartin of McComb; and 10 grandchildren.
A funeral service was Nov. 18, 2020, at Colonial Funeral Home, Rev. Ron Jordan presiding over services and interment at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Tylertown.
Pallbearers were Matthew Sartin, Jr., Terry Sartin, Ricky Sartin, Bryan Sartin, Marty Sartin, Kadee Sartin, and Keith Arnold.
Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia was in charge of arrangements.
