Jeremy Paige Bridges was born Aug. 23, 1981, in Jackson, the son of James Paige and Ledora Bridges. He died Nov. 25, 2020, in Oklahoma City, OK
Bridges was raised in Jackson, where he graduated from John W. Provine High School in 1999. He received an associate degree from Hinds Community College and later attended Traxler Barber College.
He attended church all of his life and was required to take notes in church as evidence that he was listening. He loved bible study.
In 2012, Bridges met the love of his life, Gloria Silva and on Oct. 26, 2013, they were married in Mustang, OK. He had many hobbies. He enjoyed flipping furniture, loved Ole’ Miss football, listening to music and playing the piano and organ. Jeremy was a talented barber and had a goal of one day owning his own barber shop, Sims Flip and Clip.
He was preceded in death by his cousin, Shameka Brown, his grandfathers, Sim Bridges of Tylertown and James Paige, Sr., his maternal grandmother, Vera Bridges, and his Aunt Berniece Bridges Culver.
Survivors are his wife Gloria Bridges; daughter Penelope Jean Bridges, and cousin Brennan Shaw all of the home; his mother, Ledora Bridges; father and stepmother, James and Mitzi Paige, all of Jackson; sisters, Quanda Price and her husband Gerald of Killeen, Tex.; Bria Paige and twins Kellyn and Amber Paige all of Jackson; special aunts, Nellie (Betty) Simmons of Tylertown, and Francis Bridges; grandmother, Myrea Paige both of Jackson; mother-in-love, Renisa Thomas of Oklahoma City; sisters-in-love, Leticia Silva, Mikayla Jordan and AnnaMarie Jordan; his father-in-law, Tony Thomas and wife Aimee of Cedar Hill, Tex.; brother-in-law, Ashton Thomas and sister-in-law, Georgia Thomas; his best friends, Ernest Alexander, Jeff Stewart, Terrance Holmes and Calvin Green.
A celebration of life was Dec. 5, 2020, at Calvary Christian Center.
