Two markets beginning in May for produce, crafts on Tues., Sat.

If you like to garden and want to pick up some extra cash, or if you enjoy eating fresh-from-the-garden vegetables, Tylertown is home to two markets this year, both located at the Agri-Heritage Center, 116 S. Railroad, downtown, behind Trustmark Bank.
The newest market kicks off Saturday, May 1, from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Old Town Market is held the first and third Saturdays of the month, April through December. In addition to the usual market fare of produce and crafts, small animals are also allowed for sale outside the building during the twice-monthly Saturday markets.
For information contact Klara Reid at 601-876-5325 or Linda Johnson at 601-303-4355.
Then, beginning Tuesday, May 4, Tylertown Farmers Market is held every Tuesday from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. running through November. It’s the well-known market open to produce and craft vendors that’s operated successfully for years.
For information contact Carolyn Horn at 410-693-7701.
Sellers are sought for both of Tylertown’s markets. To participate in either or both markets, fill out the form that can be found in our printed or online edition:
