Vander Marie Pigott “Ree” Jordan was born Jan. 25, 1958, to the union of the late Henry Pigott, Sr. and Eulice Pigott. She died May 10, 2021, at her residence in Franklinton.
A funeral service was May 15, 2021, at Water Valley COGIC, Franklinton, bishop Howard Quillin officiating, interment at St. James Church Cemetery, Clifton.
She joined Water Valley COGIC at an early age where she remained a member until her death.
She worked at Rutter-Rex Manufacturing Co., Riverside Medical Center both of Franklinton, Walthall General Hospital of Tylertown, where she remained until her health began to fail.
She was married to the late Phillip Jordan, Sr. and to this union three children were born; one daughter, Ashakila Pigott; two sons, Phillip Chirin E. Jordan, and Jarwin Traton Jordan all of Franklinton; three grandchildren, Jamaurien Medious, Te’Asha Pigott and Malachi Jordan.
Other survivors are three sisters-in-law, Janice Pigott and Rose Martin, both of Bogalusa, and Linda Ginn of Tylertown.
Vander Marie Pigott-Jordan was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Jordan, Sr.; her father and mother Henry Pigott and Eulice Pigott; a sister, Ora Dee Bickham; two brothers, Joe L. Pigott and Henry Pigott; brother-in-law, Alvin Bickham, Sr.
Craft-Ginn Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
