Funeral services for Irene Dillon Magee, 89, of Tylertown, were June 5, 2021, at Capps Funeral Home with Eld. Andy May and Rev. Mike Anderson officiating, burial in the Elliot Cemetery.
Mrs. Magee died at her residence in Tylertown June 3, 2021. She was born April 13, 1932, in Tylertown, to the late Rebecca Lee Dillon and Frank Dillon. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Altus Dutch Magee; son Benjy Magee, daughter-in-law Darlene Magee; son-in-law Randy McKenzie; granddaughter Lisa Marie Bridges; and sister Joyce Fitch.
Mrs. Magee enjoyed gardening and dairying for 50 years with her husband, Dutch. In 1992 she then started working in the poultry farm business. She loved cooking and baking for her family. She loved the outdoors; you could always find her planting her flowers or sitting on her porch drinking coffee.
Survivors include her children Brenda (Tom) Cameron, Robert “Bobby” (Debbie) Magee, Ann McKenzie, and Allen (Peggy) Magee; grandchildren Jamie Bridges, Brian (Tracie) Magee, Bradley (Joelle) Magee, Kymberly Graves, Jennifer (Justin) Guillory, Daniel (Stacey) Bass, Robert Bass, Jason (Susan) Parham, Jeremy (Casey) Parham, Amy (Jason) Bourgeois, Kayla (Kendrick) Bolden, and Matthew (Kalan) Magee; greatgrandchildren Shelby Bridges, Kaleigh Magee, Taylor Magee, Kolton Magee, Averi Magee, Alicen Magee, Adalin Graves, Jacie Guillory Jaxn Guillory, Jolee Guillory, Landon Bass, Auston Bass, Preston Bass, Harley Parham, Gabby Parham, Hannah Bougeois, Drew Parham, JJ Byrd, Kaylan Parham, Jackson Bourgeois, Austin Bourgeois, Halee Parham, Gavin Parham, Cameron Bolden, Kentrell Bolden, Devon Bolden, Breyden Magee, and Rebekah Magee; and sister Wanzie Yates.
Pallbearers were Matthew Magee, Kendrick Bolden, Cameron Bolden, Jeremy Parham, Bradley Magee, and Jason Parham.
Honorary pallbearers were Brian Magee, Kentrell Bolden, Jamie Bridges, Drew Parham, JJ Byrd, and Gavin Parham.
