Graveside services for Lura Belle Dunaway, 92, of Bartlett, TN, were July 31, 2021, at Tylertown Cemetery. Mrs. Dunaway died July 26, 2021. She was born Sept. 27, 1928, in Tylertown, to the late Elaine and Harold Rimes. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Dave Dunaway; sons Donald Paul Dunaway and Daniel Earl Dunaway; and brother Cole Rimes.
She was a longtime resident of Greenville, where she spent most of her career nursing at King’s Daughter Hospital. Her favorite past times were spending time with family, cooking, reading, and gardening. Upon retiring she moved back to Tylertown to the family “Dairy Barn”. She was a longtime member of Tylertown Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons David (Sherry) Dunaway, Richard (Susan) Dunaway, Doug (Margaret) Dunaway, and Duane (Pamela) Dunaway; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
