South Mississippi Boucherie Barbecue Festival and Competition Schedule of Events

•Friday–all day check-in for barbeque team competitors. Vendor set-up, 1-6 p.m. (no public events)

•Saturday–
6-7:30 a.m. —    •Vendor set up continues. No vehicles/trailers allowed in the arena after 7:30 a.m., no exceptions.
7-10 a.m.–         •Tylertown Rotary Club pancake breakfast.
7 a.m.–               •Check in begins for CardioWorld 5K and Fun Run.
7:55 a.m.–         •Reveille, prayer and national anthem, veterans’ groups, boy scouts.
8 a.m.–               •CardioWorld 5K begins, start and end at Southwest Events Center.
8 a.m.–               •Vendor booths open
9 a.m.–               •CardioWorld kids’ fun run.
9-10 a.m.–         •Trustys of Davo Crossing, stage entertainment
10 a.m.–             •DJ provides background music
10:30 a.m–        •Concession stand open for sale of barbeque plates and sandwiches (continues until sold out).
11 a.m.-2 p.m.– •The Bridge Band, stage entertainment

Saturday Judging times for teams (approximate) Championship teams compete in the pro division, while patio teams compete in the amateur division.
•10 a.m. championship (pro) whole hog and patio (amateur) pulled pork.
•11 a.m.- championship (pro) pulled pork and patio (amateur) pork ribs
•12 n.- championship (pro) pork ribs and patio (amateur) pork loin.
•1 p.m. Championship (pro) on-site finals begin.
The final event is followed by the trophy presentation.
