Virgie L. Weary

Virgie Lee Weary, 91, of Tylertown, died Feb. 7, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Weary was born on March 17, 1930, in Walthall County to the late Gina Toney Moses and John Moses.
She attended China Grove School and worked as a homemaker for many years. She was a member of Dexter Mt. Olive, where she sang in the choir for over 70 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John L. Weary; four sisters, Camellie Moses, Oneida Moses, Mablena Moses and Juanita Jackson; two brothers, Walter Moses and Inoise Moses; two sons, Benny Ray Weary and Vernell Weary; one daughter, Mazola Andrews; one grandson, Bobby Ray Weary; two great grandsons, Jeffery Oneal Weary and Brossi Keri Hogan; one son-in-law, Warren Conerly.
Survivors are one son, Mitchell (Felicia) Weary; three daughters Arlene (Zetalta) Fortenberry and Catherine Conerly all of Tylertown, Ruthie Collins of Slidell, LA; one daughter-in-law, Willie Dell Weary; her church riding buddy, Sarah Cooley.
A funeral service was Feb. 20, 2022, at East Mt. Olive Dexter Missionary Baptist Church in Tylertown, pastor Reginald Russell officiating, with interment to follow in the East Mt. Olive Church Cemetery.
