Betty E. Reid, age 79, a resident of Summit, formerly of Forest, died April 7, 2022, at home.
A memorial service was April 10, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Mrs. Reid is survived by four children, Melanie Penoza, Jesse Wiley Reid, his wife, Irene Roberts, Christy Brister, her husband, Joel, and Paul Reid: six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Massey and Shelby Porter.
Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse, and Effa Amason, her husband, L.D. Wiley Reid; one brother, James Amason; two sisters, Gloria Perkins and Janelle Creel
Hobbies of Mrs. Reid were reading, watching T.V., collecting whatnots, but the love of family brought her great joy.
Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of the arrangements.
