Benny Merl Conerly Magee, 66, of Tylertown, died April 18, 2022, at Riverside Medical Center, Franklinton. She was born Sept. 12, 1955, to the late Elaska Conerly Sr. and Alfreda Lundy Conerly.
Later in life she married Melvin Magee Jr., who preceded her in death, and they had two children. She was also preceded in death by a son, Keith Conerly; a granddaughter, Angel Conerly; grandparents, Jerome Lundy and Christine Dillon Lundy; Alfonso Conerly Sr and Gassie Jacob Conerly.
Survivors are four sons, Christopher O’Conner Conerly of Jackson, Damion Conerly of Magnolia, Robert Magee of Hattiesburg, Corey (Jasmine) Magee of Tylertown; three daughters, Tasha Lynn Conerly, Meltanya (Ken) Cowart, both of Tylertown, Alicia Oceana of Jackson; a sister, Linda (Cliff) Funchess of Crystal Springs; a brother, Dan Conerly of Tylertown; a special aunt, Nora Lundy of New Orleans; a sister-in-law, Shirley Ann (Jerry) Magee of Tylertown; a brother-in-law, Albert Golloway of Jayess; two daughters-in-law, Letisha Andrews and Martha Ann Sims; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Services were April 30, 2022, at Craft-Dillon-Ginn Funeral Chape, pastor Glenn Allen officiating, with interment in the Tylertown City Cemetery.
