Sandra Faye James-Harris, 62, of Jayess, died June 16, 2022, in Marion County. Mrs. Harris was born Dec. 1, 1959, in Tylertown to the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence James and Marie Causey James.
She was married to Perry “Pierre” Harris Sr., Oct. 21, 1977. She worked at B.C. rogers, Croft, and Kalencom as a seamstress. She was a member of Fresh Anointing Ministries and served as president of the usher board and served on the hospitality and church beautification committees.
She had a love for adventures and traveling.
Survivors are her son, Perry Xavier Harris Jr. (Tarra), son-in-law, Daltonia Magee; grandsons, Dawson Pierre Magee and Tocarian Johnson; god-granddaughter, Alexandria William; granddaughters, Je’Lasia Badon and Je’Lyric Magee; a pet, Kamyra Harris; three sisters, Peggy Joe Jefferson, Brenda (Derwin) Clements, Sarah (Kenneth) Brent; two brothers, Charles Ray Causey, Rodney (Greta) James.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Harris Sr.; daughter, Saydrianne Harris Magee; parents, Prentiss and Ethelene Harris; God sister, Gwen Bullock.
Funeral services were June 25, 2022, at the Fresh Anointing Ministries in Columbia, interment In Harris Family Estate Cemetery in Jayess, Bishop Charles Brumfield, Jr. officiating.
