James Bruce McCaffrey, 76, of Tylertown, died Jan. 2, 2023. He was born Aug. 26, 1946, in Tylertown.
A memorial service was Jan. 7, 2023, at Centerville Baptist Church (Lexie) with Rev. Mike Anderson officiating.
McCaffrey was a longtime member of Centerville Baptist Church (Lexie) where he served as a deacon for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his father James Albert McCaffrey and mother Clara Belle Wood McCaffrey.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Barbara Ann Richmond McCaffery; daughters Pennelope Ann McCaffery Cassell (Donald), Leah Page McCaffery and Pamela Renee Buchannan (Steve); grandchildren Carol Ann Cassell Ashton (Andrew), James Garrett McCaffery, Gabe Wood and Raven Sierra Reid; brother Jeffrey McCaffrey; sister Anita Diane McCaffrey; great grandchildren Mia Skye McCaffery and Evan Lee Ashton.
