New Miss Hospitality to be selected at Saturday tea

Walthall’s 2022 Miss Hospitality selection tea will be this Saturday, 10 a.m., at Citizens Bank Application forms can be picked up at any of the three banks in town and must be turned in by Feb. 3.
To enter applicants must be a resident of Mississippi; must represent the contestant’s hometown or home county, not the city where she attends college; must attend the entirety of state competition; high school graduate who attends or plans to attend college; between the ages of 18 and 24 by the first day of judging, which begins on Wednesday of competition week; never married and no children; may not hold or pursue another title from the day she is crowned as a local Miss Hospitality winner through the conclusion of the state competition or, in the event she is crowned the state’s Miss Hospitality, through the end of her reign; a minimum 2.5 scholastic average (on a 4.0 system), and a current transcript must be provided.
