Martina Bullock, 81, of Tylertown, died Feb. 19, 2023, at Forrest General Hospital.
She was born Jan. 25, 1942, to the late Johnnie Bullock and Arlevia Bullock. She took joy in planting flowers. She was an active member of Brandon Bay community.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Climmie Pittman, Isabell Lewis, Martha Pittman, Emma Singleton, Evelyn Ratcliff; brother, James E. Bullock; son, Oliver Bullock; daughter, Gwendolyn Bullock; and son, Larry Hammond.
Survivors are her children, Bernestean Hammond of Dallas, TX, Clayton Bullock of Tylertown, Debra Hyres (David) of Ashburn, VA, Schequeta Holmes (Daryl) of Hattiesburg, Talita Roberts (Bobby of Jayess, Debbie Bullock of Tappahannock, VA; siblings, Arthur L. Bullock (Debbie) of Picayune, Austin J. Bullock, Bishop Richard Bullock (Zelma), Willie G. Bullock, and Bobbie J. Holmes, all of Pontiac, MI.
Funeral services were Feb. 25, 2023, at Brandon Bay United Methodist Church, Apostle Clayton Bullock officiating and rendering the eulogy, interment in the Brandon Bay United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Myron Bullock, Samuel Bullock, Lloyd Bullock, Tyler Harris, Preston Bullock and Larry Youngblood.
Honorary pallbearers were Arthur L. Bullock, Richard Bullock, Clayton Bullock, Johnnie A. Bullock, Willie G. Bullock and Oliver R. Bullock.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
