Ella Reet Burnette, 85, of Mccomb, died March 3, 2023, at the Claiborne in McComb. She was born March 18, 1937 in McComb.
Funeral services were March 5, 2023, at Capps Funeral Home, burial in Enon Cemetery in Jayess.
Mrs. Burnette enjoyed listening to gospel music, working in the yard, fishing. It could be holiday, special occasions, cookouts, or just having them come by and visiting for a little while.
She was preceded in death by her husband, June V Burnette; sons Ricky Burnette and Lance Burnette; daughter Rhonda Simmons; father Andrew Barclay; mother Lucille Erwin Barclay; brother Billy Barclay (Mary); son-in-law Mark Simmons; daughter-in-law Tammy Burnette.
Survivors include her daughter Lisa Bacot (Julius); grandchildren, Andy Bacot (Kamie), Kayla Rutland (Richard), Brently Pevey, Amanda Lassere (Randy), Amber Simmons and Kristen Hutchinson (William); great grandchildren, Alexis Bacot, Alysa Bacot, Swane Rutland, Ashton Hulin, James Bennett, Saige Lambert (Cyler), Hunter Lassere, Jenna Lassere and Sarah Frances Hutchinson; great great grandchild Alaia Lambert; daughter-in-law, Mechelle Burnette.
Pallbearers were Neil Burnette, Sam Barclay, Tyler Bacot, Andy Bacot, Hoover Dillon, and Brently Pevey.
Special music will be performed by Bro. Philip Alford .
Hartman Hughes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
