Henrietta Magee-Craft, 97, of Bogalusa, died Sept. 2, 2023, at Westhaven Living Center in Bogalusa. She was born April 30, 1926, in Kokomo to the late Willie and Lillie Magee.
As a young woman, she met and married Tysee Craft June 16, 1943, and they had nine children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tysee Craft; daughter, Bobbie Jean Craft; her siblings, Lucy Mae Causey-Rushing, Shirley Sears, Bernice Magee, Aline Reeds, Albert Magee and Willie Mae Reeves.
Survivors are five daughters, Earlean Brown and Linda Daggs of Dallas, TX, Willean Enoch of Grand Rapids, MI, Lillie Marie Craft of New Orleans, Cheryl Ogunbor of Tylertown; three sons, Willie R. Craft of Picayune, Larry Craft of Bogalusa, George Craft of Dallas, TX; sisters, Katherine Smith, Valine (Ado) Causey, Mary Magee.
Funeral services were Sept. 9, 2023, at New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, Foxworth, with Pastor David Smith officiating and rendering the eulogy, interment at China Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers were George Craft, Larry Wayne Craft, Willie Ray Craft, Semuel Causey, M.L. Smith, Benjamin Badon and David Smith.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
