Lady Chiefs volleyball 2-11 for season; 1-7 in district

Tylertown’s Lady Chiefs have a 2-11 season record in volleyball this year, and are 1-7 in district play.
Port Gibson handed THS a 3-1 defeat on Sept. 26, while earlier the Lady Chiefs fell to Our Lady Academy 3-0 Sept. 21, 3-0 to West Marion Sept. 14 and 3-0 to St. Patrick on Sept. 12.
The Lady Chiefs had a win over Perry Central, 3-1, but lost earlier to Our Lady Academy 3-0 Sept. 5.
Aug. 31, Port Gibson defeated the Lady Chiefs 3-0; Mest Marion shut down THS 3-0 Aug. 29, and Aug 24 St. Patrick won over the Chiefs 3-0,
Perry Central defeated the Lady Chiefs 3-1 Aug. 22 and north county rival Salem won 2 sets to 0 on Aug. 11.
Also Aug. 11, Tylertown defeated Amite County 2-1, but lost to Franklin County 2-0.
At the scheduled season opener Aug 7, the Lady Chiefs failed to field a team and were marked with a loss, forfeiting the game to Heritage Christian.
