Autopsy still pending in child’s death

At press time Friday, county medical examiner Chris Blackwell said he’s not received the results of an autopsy performed on a 35-month-old infant found dead Aug. 5 at TLC Daycare and Learning Center in the Salem community.
Authorities investigating the death of Ace Holloway wanted the autopsy to help them uncover the circumstances surrounding the death.
Officials from a number of agencies are involved in the investigation including the sheriff’s office, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, district attorney and State Department of Health.
A release by the county sheriff’s office says the results of the investigation will be turned over to the Walthall County Grand Jury.
