Tropical storm conditions possible this week

Weather forecasters are keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Francine as it develops in the Southwest Gulf of Mexico.
At press time Monday Francine was forecast to move generally northward, paralleling the Texas Gulf Coast and eventually making landfall along the Louisiana coast Wednesday or early Thursday as a hurricane.
The effect on Southwest Mississippi includes tropical storm conditions possible Wednesday night and Thursday with showers, possible thunderstorms and possible wind gusts up to 40 mph.
