Judgement House production of ‘Words’ begins Oct. 27

Judgement House returns to Tylertown Baptist Church this year with the production of “Words.”
The walk-through dramas are being presented Sunday and Monday, Oct. 27-28; Wednesday and Thursday, Oct.30-31; and Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2-3.
The presentation is open from 6-8 p.m. weeknights; 4-9 p.m. weekends.
Director Kristy Laird says she is looking for anyone to volunteer, as actors, extras, security, counselors, people to help guide, people to park cars, a check in crew and more.
“One scene calls for a large number of kids. They’re not speaking parts, but we need a big number to simulate a church camp,” she said. “And we also need adult actors, in particular, one portraying a grandmother.”
The drama this year is entitled, “Words,” and concerns bullying.
The story line is about a young girl who lives with her grandmother.
She attends church camp and is there when word comes that her grandmother dies. Word reaches her at camp and as the result of her fellow campers’ allegations, rumors and talk among themselves, the girl becomes depressed and commits suicide.
Judgment House is not recommended for children under 10.
Reserve your spot in advance by calling the church office, 601-876-3436.
