Christmas Bazaar and Wagon Rides: a holiday tradition at the Southwest Events Center

Get ready to kick off the holiday season with the Christmas Bazaar and Wagon Rides, happening on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 22-23, at the Southwest Events Center. This annual event promises a weekend full of holiday shopping, craftsmanship, and family-friendly fun.
The Bazaar will be open from 3-9 p.m. on both days, offering a variety of unique, handcrafted gifts from local artisans and vendors. Admission is free, and there is ample free parking available. Whether you’re looking for one-of-a-kind holiday presents or something special for yourself, you’ll find a wide range of options—from custom jewelry and hand-carved wood items to festive quilted tree skirts and whimsical art. Local vendors are offering everything from painted watercolors to handcrafted cutting boards, goat milk soaps, stained glass, and much more.
One particularly fun vendor is bringing a portable stuffing machine, where customers can choose a toy animal and accessories to create a personalized stuffed animal, complete with a birth certificate and a heart insert. It’s a great chance for a unique, keepsake gift for children of all ages.
In addition to the Bazaar, don’t miss the Preview Wagon Rides through Christmas in the Park, beginning at dusk and departing every 20 minutes until 8:30 p.m.. For just $5 per adult and $2 for children 12 and under, you can take a festive ride through the park and enjoy the holiday lights and decorations from a whole new perspective.
For those feeling hungry, the Tylertown Elementary PTO will be on hand to serve treats, including nachos, chili, Frito pies, hot dogs, and possibly homemade chicken noodle soup to keep you warm as you enjoy the Bazaar.
Bring your friends and family, and make your way to the Southwest Events Center for a weekend full of holiday magic, great gifts, and festive fun!
