Union Baptist Church Nativity presented this weekend
Union Baptist Church sponsors its live Nativity drive-through every Christmas season. The scenes, accompanied by a narrative at each scene, spells out the story of Christmas, as outlined in the Bible.
The long-running church project involves practically the whole church membership in some capacity, from building and maintaining sets to acting in the scenes, directing traffic and so on.
The Nativity is open from 6-8 p.m. this Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at the church, located on Hwy. 27 north.
Visited by many county residents, along with many who drive from neighboring counties to enjoy the display, many families consider the Union Nativity as one of the “musts” during the holiday season.
