Laurion Dyani “Ani” Magee, 23, of Tylertown, died Nov. 16, 2024, in Walthall County. She was born March 13, 2001, in Dallas, TXm to Laurence Magee and Betty Magee.
She was a 2019 graduate of Tylertown High School where she was a cheerleader and member of the band. She attended Southwest Community College where she graduated in 2021 receiving an associate’s degree in early childhood education. She was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa honor society. She received an academic scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi and received a bachelor’s degree in child and family services.
Survivors are her parents, Laurence and Betty Magee; one sister, Brooklyn Jakai Magee; her grandparents, Benjamin and EmmaLean Ratliff, Leroy Williams and Deborah Williams.
Funeral services were Nov. 24, 2024, at Darbun Community Worship Center in Kokomo, pastor Kevin Montgomery Sr. officiating with interment in Tylertown Cemetery.
