Wilford Robinson Sr.
Aug. 1, 1934 – March 17, 2025
Wilford Robinson, Sr., 90, of Tylertown, died March 17, 2025, as a result of injuries sustained during the March 15, 2025, tornado. He was born on Aug. 1, 1934, to the late Paul and Trudy Smith Robinson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Emma Jean Robinson and Nellie Robinson; his daughter, Abbie Nell Robinson; three sisters, Florean Yarborough, Clementine Pittman and Martina Carr; two brothers, A.J. Robinson and Clifford Robinson.
Survivors are five sons, Wilford Jr. (Linda) and W.J. (Brenda) both of Tylertown, Eddie Dean of Glendale, CA, Michael of Brookhaven and Marcus of McComb; two daughters, Patricia (Tyrone) Lenoir of Tylertown, and Amanda Holmes-Magee, (Rontairo Latrell Magee) of North Richland Hill, TX; one granddaughter he reared as his own, Ashley Robinson; one brother, Willie J. (Andreylee) Robinson; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 25, 2025, at Washington Funeral Home with pastor Stacy Robinson officiating, interment at Tylertown Cemetery II.
Pallbearers were Tyrone Lenoir, Donovan Harness, Dee Jay Harness, Erik Yarborough, Jacqueve Harness and Julian Conner.
Honorary pallbearers were Dreak Robinson, Bobby (BJ) Lenoir Jr., Tony Robinson and Janarian Hill.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
