Brenda F. Robinson, 68, of Tylertown, died April 10, 2025, in Kokomo. She was born Dec. 1, 1956, in Tylertown to Elijah Rushing and Georgia Luter Rushing. She was a 1976 graduate of Salem High School and married W.J. Robinson.
She was a member of the Darbun Community Worship Center and was in the hospitality department. She retired from the MS Department of Health where she had served as a WIC clerk. She also worked at Walthall General Hospital, Billdora Nursing Home, and Walthall Extended Care. She was active in her children’s and grandchildren’s functions and activities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Timothy (Eartha) Rushing and Rufus Rushing; her sisters, Clara (Sherman) Atkins, Bertha Lee (Roy) Lenoir, and Georgia Expose; and two brothers-in-law, Paul Williams and Rudolph Garrison.
Survivors are her husband of 48 years, W.J. Robinson; her three children, Latanga (Damon) Sportsman, Tony (Danielle) Robinson, and Angella (Andre) Magee; two brothers, Hampton (Patsy) Rushing and Edward Rushing; six sisters, Ruby (Butch), Modell (James) Haynes, Avis (Earl) Tolar, Grace (Bobby) Lenoir, Modine Williams, and Alice Garrison; one brother-in-law, Jean Expose; seven grandchildren, Romalice Burris Jr., Dondria Burris, Destin Burris, Amari Bush, Madison Robinson, Draiden Magee, and Aaliyah Robinson.
Funeral services were April 19, 2025, at Darbun Community Worship Center, Pastor Kevin Montgomery officiating, interment in Luter Family Cemetery.
