William “Bill” Bingham Crosby, 80, of Tylertown, died May 12, 2025, at his residence. He was born May 23, 1944. in Freemont, OH, to the late William Howard Crosby and Bernice Hilbert Crosby.
Funeral services were May 14, 2025, at Union Baptist Church, with Bro. Millard Moak officiating.
Crosby served as a U.S. Marine. He was a member of Union Baptist Church where he served many years as a deacon. For 20 years he called Tylertown and was involved at at the Union Church Christian Academy, Tylertown American Legion, and Tylertown Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Alverda Slody Crosby.
Pallbearers were Jacob Harvey, Wyatt Brumfield, Mark McKenzie, Buddy Delancey, Keith Sanford, and Junior Brumfield.
