Maggie Mae Bridges Craft, 88, of Tylertown, died April 29, 2025, at her residence. She was born Oct. 5, 1936, in Tylertown to the late Herbert and Ella Bridges.
On July 23, 1955 she married Ezekiel Jack Craft. She was a nurse at Easthaven Care Center in New Orleans. After retiring she returned to Tylertown where she attended East Sunny Hill MB Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ezekiel Jack Craft; two sons, Isaac and Adonis Craft; three brothers, Calvin Bernard (C.B.) Bridges, Willie B. Bridges, and Jelton Bridges; and two sisters, Lossie Dean Gatlin and Mattie Bell Walker.
Survivors are one son, Mitchell (Norell) Craft; grandchildren: Melissa Gatlin-Deal, Nilisha (Nicole) Gatlin, Arreyel Miguel, Adonte’ Turner, Anthony (Tasha) Williams, Bre’Jon (Tamiko) Williams, Joshua Williams, and Ra’Shad Turner; God-daughter: Tiffany Dubose; 19 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Zaddie Reed, Jessie Frederick, Norma Bridges, Yvonne Pierre and Ann Craft; brother-in-law, Larry Craft; daughter-in-law, Karen Craft; special friend, Elaine Diza Russell.
Funeral services were May 10, 2025, at East Sunny Hill MB Church, interment in East Sunny Hill Cemetery, Bishop Willie T Deans officiating.
