School immunization clinic schedule

MSDH is setting aside special days at county health departments to focus on providing required school immunizations. No appointment required.
• New to Mississippi schools or daycare: Childhood immunizations are required for all children enrolling in a Mississippi daycare, kindergarten or school for the first time.
• Incoming 7th-graders: Booster shots to protect against pertussis are required for all entering seventh-graders (or age 12-13).
• Attending college: We provide recommended immunizations for those attending college or a university.
Cost: There is a $10 administration fee per shot if you lack insurance coverage.
Please bring a copy of your child’s immunization record with you if possible.
Schedule
Walk-in immunizations are available at the Walthall County Health Dept., 903 Union Road, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27, and Friday, July 11.
Immunization Records (Form 121)
Your child’s school will require a copy of Form 121 to certify that they have received required immunizations for school entry. You can print or download a copy of your child’s Form 121 with a MyIR account. Your county health department can also assist with immunization records before your visit.

• Catch-up vaccinations: If your child is behind on vaccinations and needs to catch up, please schedule an appointment by calling 855-767-0170.
