Erica Kay McKenzie Hartzog, 50, of Tylertown, died Aug. 24, 2025, at her residence. She was born Nov. 16, 1974, in Tylertown to Steve and Pasty McKenzie. Mrs. Hartzog enjoyed reading, watching TV, dinning out, talking on the phone, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Charlie Hartzog and mother-in-law, Patsy Hartzog.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Chuck Hartzog; father, Steve McKenzie; mother, Patsy Brumfield McKenzie; sister, Lisa Pevey (Jason); niece, Brianna Adams (Aaron); great nephew Lake Adams; brother-in-law, Bruce Hartzog; sisters-in-law, Jill McDaniel (Ricky) and Regina Graves (Tim).
Graveside services were Aug. 27, 2025, at Hurricane Creek Cemetery in Sandy Hook, Bro. Millard Moak officiating.
