Richard “Rick” Bernard Czekus, 89, died at his residence Oct. 3, 2025. He was born April 24, 1936, to Sonny and Carol Czekus.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Sarah and James.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet Czekus; two sons, Chris and Ryan (Mynnie) of Las Vegas; two daughters, Amy Czekus of Las Vegas and Stephanie McElroy (Mac) of Lake Havasu; five grandchildren, Rain and Riley Czekus of Las Vegas, Magenta, Christine, and Riley McElroy of Oregon, and three great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held in Tylertown, Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at 11a.m. Burial to follow the service at the family cemetery.
