Laura Bell Magee, 87, died Dec. 28, 2025, at Diversicare of Tylertown. She was born Nov. 18, 1938, in Walthall County, to Alvin and Lula Youngblood.
Laura was united with Tulmadge Curtis Magee in Holy Matrimony and to this union ten children were born. She was a member of Antioch MB Church from an early age.
Laura was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Trudell and Marcus Magee; two daughters, Dorothy Nell Labat and Eila Laura Magee; her parents; three sisters, Stella Sartin, Gloria Hatcher and Clorell Brumfield; four brothers, Deason Youngblood, William Youngblood, Hargie Youngblood and James Youngblood.
Survivors include five daughters, Jeanette Magee, Shannon Magee and Shelia Davis, all of Tylertown, Connie Magee of Mt. Herman, LA, Tracy (Dwayne) Dillon of Biloxi; one son, Audrey Magee of Tylertown; daughter-in-law, Dianne Magee; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Charles and Marshell Youngblood; two sisters-in-law, Ollie Youngblood and Cleo Magee; brother-in-law, S.J. (Rosetta) Magee.
Services were held Jan. 3, 2026, at Antioch MB Church in Tylertown, with Rev. Robert McCarthy officiating. Burial was in Dillon Family Cemetery. Please share condolences and encouraging words at www.craftfuneralhome.org
