Tylertown welcomes its hometown hero, Jordan Anthony, at a reception in his honor Saturday, 6 p.m., at Tylertown Baptist Church Family Life Center. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m.
“Join us as we celebrate Jordan Anthony’s outstanding accomplishments and the excellence he represents for our community,” a spokesman said.
Recognized as one of the fastest runners in the world, Anthony most recently clocked 6.43 seconds at the Tyson Invitational 60 meter.
