Walthall’s 2026 Miss Hospitality named

The county has a new Miss Hospitality, chosen by an independent panel of judges at a selection tea Saturday. She is Kyndal Blackwell, and will serve as the county’s goodwill ambassador at local events including the Dairy Festival, Easter parade and egg hunt, Christmas events, Chamber banquet and more. She will represent the county in the state Miss Hospitality competition in Hattiesburg later this summer. Blackwell is also the winner of the Betty Smet public service award. The selection of the county’s Miss Hospitality is sponsored annually by the Walthall Chamber of Commerce.
