Sarah Cannon Promoted to Associate Director in MS and LA for Tower Loan

Tower Loan recently promoted Sarah Cannon to Associate Director, where she will help lead operations across Mississippi and Louisiana. Sarah currently oversees Tower Loan’s Tylertown branch and will continue supporting the office and the community it serves in her new role.
Throughout her 20-year career with Tower Loan, Sarah has advanced through multiple leadership positions, helping develop employees, strengthen operations, and serve communities across Mississippi.
She is advancing from her previous role as Senior Supervisor. In this new position, she will help lead operations across Mississippi and Louisiana, bringing nearly two decades of experience and leadership to the role.
Sarah joined Tower Loan in 2006 as a Manager Trainee in Columbus, Mississippi. Throughout her career with the company, she has served as Branch Manager in Washington, Missouri; Bogalusa, Louisiana; and Laurel, Mississippi. She later advanced to Senior Branch Manager in Natchez, Mississippi, before being promoted to Supervisor and Senior Supervisor. Her career reflects a commitment to growth, leadership development, and operational excellence.
Known for her high standards and commitment to developing others, Sarah has built a reputation for holding people accountable while supporting their growth. Her director, Tim Kimbriel, credits much of her success to her willingness to learn, adapt, embrace challenges, and leave every team stronger than she found it.
Sarah attended Mississippi State University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Stewart, shopping, baseball, the beach, running, and traveling.
When asked what this promotion means to her, Sarah shared, “For me, this promotion is a milestone that represents both a recognition of my past contributions and a commitment to shaping what comes next. This new chapter reflects the trust placed in my ability to lead with clarity, elevate team performance, and influence strategic direction across the company.”
Throughout her career at Tower Loan, Sarah has earned numerous recognitions, including Office of the Year Runner-Up, Tower Spirit, membership on the Leadership Council, and graduation from Tower University.
