Frankie Faye Thomas, 90, died at St. Tammany Parish Hospital on June 24, 2026. Born on Dec. 9, 1935, in Tylertown, Frankie was the daughter of Frank and Evie Dillon and married to John Dewey Thomas for 70 years.
A graduate of Thomas High School and Southeastern Louisiana College, Frankie taught home economics at Thomas High School for 20 years and touched the lives of many young girls with the example she set for them. After retirement, Frankie continued working with her husband at their family business, Case Tractor, in Franklinton. She was an active member of Thomas First Baptist Church for 56 years. She enjoyed making flower arrangements for the church services and was active in the WMU and other volunteer activities for many years.
Frankie is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Dawanna Thomas; two grandchildren, John Matthew Thomas and Jessica Alice Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dewey Thomas; her parents, Frank Dillon and Evie Thomas Dillon; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Commodore and Marie Thomas.
A service to honor and celebrate Frankie’s life was June 29, 2026, at Thomas First Baptist Church, with Bro. Harold Gaddy and Bro. Duane Ball officiating. Burial was in the Thomas Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Randy Branch, Clay Thomas, Cole Thomas, Isaac Barber, Samuel Thomas, and Todd Blackwell.
