Lattie ‘Smokie’ Magee

Lattie Mae “Smokie” Magee, 74, of Tylertown, died July 8, 2024, at her residence. She was born June 11, 1950, in Marion County to the late Latimore and Emma Lee Powell Magee.
She was a member of Knoxo Church of God in Christ. She had a passion for baking, her cakes and pies being well loved. She loved ministering the gospel and singing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Leon P. Magee, Robert E. Magee, and Ray W. Magee; one niece, Nicole Y Miller Butler; and one nephew, Teamus T. Magee.
Survivors are two daughters, Catherine Magee and Eunice (Danny) Conerly, both of Tylertown; two sons: Paul (Denise) Magee of Sandy Hook and Latimore (Lejejuande) Dillon of Tylertown; six grandchildren, Undreau (LaKeysha) Brown of McComb, Deorlando (Karyn) Brown of Hattiesburg, Deneshunna (Wilford) Gatlin, Katelynn, Montassja, and Lajalon Magee, all of Tylertown; six great grandchildren, Omarion Magee, Javarrion Magee, Derreyonna Magee, all of Tylertown, Kayden, DJ and Kaylee Brown, all of Hattiesburg; one sister, Edna (Joseph) Miller of Tylertown.
Funeral services were July 14, 2024, at Holy Temple Ministries in Tylertown, Supt. Glenn Allen officiating with interment in the Tylertown Cemetery.
