Rita Faye Harper, 70, of Walthall County died Aug. 14, 2025 at Walthall General Hospital in Tylertown. She was born April 1, 1955, in Bassfield to the late TC. and Goldie Mae Cook. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her daughter Heather Tadley.
A memorial service was Aug. 18, 2025, at Dexter Pentecostal Church, Rev. Jerry Terrell officiating.
Mrs. Harper enjoyed spending time with her family, being outdoors, and going to church and being with her church family.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Harper; sons, Shane Harper and J.T. Tadley; daughters, Lisa Ramos, Lexa Tadley; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Hazel Griffis.
