Schequta Bullock Holmes, 55, a Tylertown native, died Aug. 20, 2025, in Birmingham, AL. She was born Oct. 1, 1969, in Walthall County to Lonell and Martina Bullock.
After graduating from Tylertown High School in 1988, she continued her studies in Business Administration, Food & Service Industry and Healthcare with various educational institutions.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clayton Bullock and Oliver Bullock.
Survivors are her husband, Darryl Holmes; children, Lorenzo C. Bullock and Amber J. Bullock; grandsons, Kayden Walker and Davin Lewis; sisters, Bernestean Hammond, Debra (David) Hyres and Talita (Bobby) Roberts.
Funeral services were Aug. 30, 2025, at Brandon Bay United Methodist Church, with Minister Samuel Bullock rendering the eulogy, interment in the Brandon Bay Church Cemetery.
