A graveside service for Alan Keith Sayes, Sr., 55, of Tylertown, was March 20, 2020, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Tylertown with Rev. Landon Lambert officiating.
Sayes died at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg March 18, 2020. He was born April 24, 1964, in Baton Rouge to Bobbie and Joe Sayes. He is preceded in death by his mother Bobbie Smith Sayes.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a welder by trade but later discovered his love for truck driving. Sayes will be remembered as an avid LSU tiger fan.
Survivors include father Joe Sayes; son Alan Sayes, Jr.; brothers Neil (Cheryl) Sayes, Sr. and Joel (Stacy) Sayes; nephews Ben (Sarah) Sayes, Neil Sayes, Jr., and Ryan Sayes; niece Amanda Sayes; great-nephew Sawyer Sayes.
Pallbearers were Ben Sayes, Neil Sayes, Ryan Sayes, and Noah Chiasson.
Memorial services for Alan Keith Sayes, Sr. will be held at a later date at Capps Funeral Home to comply with recent Coronavirus recommendations by the CDC.
